ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Elena Belyea is a queer performer, producer, arts educator, and graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Playwriting program. She is founding Artistic Director of Tiny Bear Jaws through which she produces her own work, former Artistic Director of the Common Ground Arts Society, and a co-founder of the Common Ground Arts Society’s Found Festival, a multidisciplinary arts event in Edmonton that takes place in non-traditional venues. She is a current member of Nightwood Theatre’s 2016-2017 Write From The Hip Playwriting Unit. Her play Cleave won First Place in Major Matt Mason’s playwriting competition in 2015, and was shortlisted for the 2015 NNPN New Play Showcase, the 2016 Alberta Playwriting Competition, and the 2017 Herman Voaden National Playwriting Competition. ARTISTIC ASSOCIATE + PRODUCER - Tori Morrison is a theatre artist, designer, stage manager, and production manager from Edmonton, Alberta. She is a co-founder of Edmonton’s Found Festival. She graduated from the Production program at The National Theatre School of Canada this past year, where she studied stage management, technical direction, production management, and lighting/sound/video design in a rigorous conservatory environment. Recently, she was the production manager/stage manager/sound designer and technical director for the premier production of Everyone We Know Will Be There: A House Party in One Act, which toured from Edmonton to Calgary. She is also a graduate of the University of Alberta, where she received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Drama and Political Science.
