ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Elena Eli Belyea is a queer performer, producer, arts educator, and graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Playwriting program from Amiskwaciwȃskahikan (colonially known as Edmonton).

Elena’s plays have received numerous awards, including First Place in the 2015 Wildside National Playwriting Competition with Cleave (also included as part of the Playwrights Guild of Canada’s 2018 Surefire List). They’re also the 2018/2019 recipient of the Tarragon Theatre’s RBC Emerging Playwright Award. Her play Smoke is being published in Fall 2020 by Playwrights Canada Press, as part of Voices of a Generation, alongside plays by Frances Koncan and Erin Shields.

A graduate of the University of Alberta as well as the National Theatre School of Canada (Playwriting), Elena has mentored emerging writers and theatre makers for almost a decade through numerous arts organizations such as the University of Virginia’s Young Writers’ Workshop, The Citadel Theatre’s Foote Theatre School, the University of Alberta’s New Works Festival, to name a few. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND ARTISTIC PRODUCER - Tori Morrison is a theatre creator, multimedia designer, producer and production manager from Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB). She’s Executive Director and Artistic Producer of Edmonton’s Tiny Bear Jaws and also co-produces work with writer David Gagnon Walker as Strange Victory Performance. She is a co-founder of Edmonton’s annual Found Festival of site-specific and immersive art. Recent credits include sound design and composition for Without You, a podcast produced by Alberta's Queer Calendar Project; multimedia design and coaching for Randolph College for the Performing Arts’ online production of It's Your Time (a digital adaptation of Everyman); and sound design for Premium Content at One Yellow Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo. Tori has worked on shows that have toured to New York, Australia, and France, and has an upcoming residency at Subtopia in Stockholm. She holds a BA in Drama and Political Science from the University of Alberta, and is a graduate of the Production Design and Technical Arts program at the National Theatre School of Canada.
